Our Story
Figure Eight Videography was founded by director and editor Dylan Dunaway, born from a deep passion for creative expression, filmmaking, and cinematography. Dylan’s journey began with filming music videos, which led to a position as Jacksonville State University’s videographer, where he honed his craft. Alongside his father, he co-founded a successful online ministry, further expanding his expertise in storytelling and digital media. Eventually, Dylan partnered with his childhood friend Houston Andrews to launch Figure Eight Videography, turning a lifelong dream into reality.
With a vision for growth, the team soon expanded to include Dylan’s fiancée, Raine Harris, bringing her graphic design and marketing expertise to the company. With over five years of experience in videography and video editing, Dylan and the team are committed to crafting high-quality, cinematic visuals with meticulous attention to detail. Specializing in commercials, wedding films, social media marketing content, podcasts, and music videos, we continuously reinvest in top-tier equipment to ensure every project meets the highest standards. Dylan Dunaway is the Founder, Director, and Lead Editor of Figure Eight Videography, bringing over five years of experience in videography and video editing. With a deep passion for storytelling and visual artistry, Dylan specializes in cinematography, camera operation, lighting, dolly and grip work, video editing, and color grading. His keen eye for detail and commitment to cinematic excellence ensure that every project is crafted with precision and creativity. In addition to his technical expertise, Dylan writes and directs every script and commercial for Figure Eight, shaping compelling narratives that engage and inspire. His dedication to high-quality production and innovative storytelling continues to drive Figure Eight Videography forward as a leader in the industry. As the Executive Producer for Figure Eight, Houston Andrews plays a vital role in bringing creative visions to life. He helps conceptualize and execute each video, ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of quality and storytelling. Beyond production, Houston is the driving force behind client relations—meeting with clients, securing new business, negotiating deals, and maintaining strong, personal connections. His ability to blend creativity with business acumen helps Figure Eight continue to grow while delivering exceptional, client-focused results. With a passion for both filmmaking and relationship-building, Houston ensures every project runs smoothly from concept to completion. Lead Graphic Designer
Raine Harris is the Lead Graphic Designer at Figure Eight, via a partnership with her brand raineharris.com, bringing a unique and unmatched eye for design to every project. A talented graphic designer and skilled illustrator, Raine’s creativity and style set her work apart, delivering visuals that are both striking and meaningful. Raine is a lover of books, chai tea lattes, and her two cats—Bagel and Venus. She has a passion for branding and marketing, and her work consistently reflects this. The arts have always been a significant part of Raine's life, beginning with a painting class at the age of 7, and continuing today as she approaches every experience as an opportunity to grow and learn. With a goal of bringing more beauty into the world, Raine is inspired to create art that encourages others to romanticize their everyday experiences. In addition to her partnership with Figure Eight, Raine serves as the Foundation Coordinator at the RMC Foundation. She graduated from Jacksonville State University with a degree in Marketing and Graphic Design and is the founder of her own brand, which we are excited to partner with.
